This is my professional hack time in blog format. It is a chapter of ClubPACS of which we share similar

goals as it relates to Picture Archive Communication Systems and the plight to the digital age of medical imaging.

Goals:

Show not tell. Provide real world examples and demonstrations of PACS related software and support tools.

To provide a regional forum for PACS related technologies agnostic of Facility

affiliation.

To provide a regional academic medium for its members with PACS related technologies.

To promote the use of aggressive technologies that enable an elevated level of patient

care.

To demonstrate real world initiatives through the use of Open Source Software.

To provide a regional forum for collaboration on the trials and tribulations of a fast growing

and ever changing technology.

ClubPACS Western Michigan is an academic venture and free resource to anybody who

wishes to utilize it.
