I started playing with parsing dicom headers with opendicom.NET, hacked through some classes from the BRISC Project to display some pixel data, then topped it off with the DICOM# Library to add SCU capability to it.

The result? I did something relatively neat with C# and DICOM… I called it DCMBrowse.

It can’t do a lot of stuff, but it did help kill some time waiting for the season opener for the Sopranos to come on. And thanks to the hard work of the folks at those perspective projects, it at least made me feel smart.
