Isn’t this elegant? If you ever wanted to script using the dcm4che2 toolkit, I think this is a sweet way to go. I whooped up a quick example on how to read a dicom file with JRUBY in literally a couple of minutes. Im liking what I see here, and I believe this could be the best angle to deploy a rails app that can take advantage of the dcm4che2 toolkit.
